Thee Ultra Bimboos are four Garage Girls from Finland doing a heavenly recreation of the rocking sounds that used to be played in the sixties.
There were literally hundrets of bands around, most of them addicted to a sort of Rock'n'Roll that was rather psychedelic and/or 'punk'-ish (even before the genre 'Punk' in fact existed!), but there were also some great bands that played rather mellow melodies.

Garage rock has in fact never been dead, due to some dedicated lovers of the genre who would eventually pick up an instrument themselves and keep it alive, playing their own tunes or re-creating the old classics.
